Conflict in Iran, Israel and broader region – Updated 9th March 2026
As of 4th March, the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advise against all travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Iran and parts of Lebanon. They advise against all but essential travel to most other countries in the Middle East.

Risk Alert – Product Recalls
In the UK, product recalls are initiated and managed by the Office for Product Safety & Standards (OPSS). In brief a recall means a company will ask consumers to return a product they bought due to a safety issue or defect that could cause harm. This alert provides information on the recent recall for Tower Air Fryers which have been identified as popular among students in student accommodation. It also explains the potential impact for our Members and managing the hazard.
