UMAL are upgrading from the current Global Risk Manager platform to the new Crisis24 Horizon platform on Tuesday 16th April. Anyone with a pro-license and/or an active account (an account with alert preferences set up) within Global Risk Manager will have their profile and preferences moved over to Horizon automatically but will need to activate their Horizon account by following the instructions on the e-mail that will be sent out from Crisis24. The activation e-mail will have the subject line “Welcome to Crisis24 Horizon” and be sent from the e-mail address support@crisis24horizon.com

The TravelPrepare E-learning modules currently provided to UMAL Members by Crisis24 will also be replaced by a new suite of Personal Security Awareness Training (PSAT) modules. The new PSAT modules are fully integrated into the Horizon platform, no longer requiring separate registration or login details and cover the following topics:

• Preparation and general personal conduct

• Key principles of personal security

• Accommodation

• Security on the move

• Kidnap and extortion

If you currently require travellers to complete any of the TravelPrepare modules as part of your travel approval process you will need to update your process to incorporate the new PSAT modules in place of TravelPrepare.
