Update – Novel Coronavirus Outbreak
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) now advises against all travel to Hubei Province due to the ongoing novel coronavirus outbreak. Their advice is that if you are in this area and able to leave, you should do so - https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/china
Novel Coronavirus Outbreak (China)
Since the turn of the year, there have been several cases of Novel Coronavirus confirmed in China and these have now spread to other nearby countries, including Japan, Thailand and South Korea. At the time of writing, there have been over 200 confirmed cases, and at least 4 deaths.
