You will work closely with all parts of the business to help ensure the high level of service our Members demand and, where appropriate, to promote the interests of UMAL by working with the other business areas.
You will handle predominantly property claims submitted by or against Members, ensuring tasks are handled quickly and to a high standard and in accordance with the claims handling manual, any other internal guidelines and regulatory requirements.
You will also handle or assist with the handling of claims under the other classes of cover that UMAL provides to its Members, as required.
You will attend such meetings with Members as are required, to discuss claims related issues, and prepare such documentation as is necessary to facilitate and record the meetings.
You will help ensure that UMAL’s service providers deliver a market leading, cost effective service to both Members and the company by monitoring their performance, cost and quality.
You will work with associated entities in the sector to help enhance the profile of UMAL.
You will work as a team member providing such support as required by other members of the team and to fully participate in individual and shared project work.
You will assist the Head of Claims and CEO as required with the preparation, analysis and presentation of data on Members claims, and related tasks.
You will contribute as required to all UMAL publications including Newsletters, Technical Bulletins and corporate brochures.
