Following the Government announcement advising people to work from home wherever possible, all of our staff are now working remotely.
All UMAL staff have remote access to their email, files and UMAL systems.
All direct line phone numbers have been diverted directly to individual’s mobiles or an alternative landline.
We will continue to be able to deal with underwriting queries and questions in the normal way.
Our Claims system is fully accessible remotely and we are able to manage, set up new claims and make payments in the normal way.
As you might expect we are experiencing unprecedented queries and claims in respect of travel cover. We are focusing our resources in this area of our business so that we can respond as quickly as possible to members and their students, and minimise the disruption caused.
Any queries should continue to be directed to your normal UMAL contact, who will continue to be able to assist you.
